Factheory – “Post Modern Life”

Brussels-based artist Factheory unleashes a compelling industrial-rock sound on new single “Post Modern Life.” Thunderous guitar distortion and submerged vocal eeriness kickstart a stylish rock intrigue to start. Lyrical references to reality signal a buzzing, space-y textural quality that culminates in a grimy rhythmic stomping around the one-minute turn. The darkly invigorating vocal presence melds with the fuzzy guitars — conjuring a “sense to unveil,” for an industrial-embracing aesthetic with nu-metal tonal hints.

The two-minute turn reveals a more spacious soundscape, with clanking percussion and creeping vocal momentum making for a climactic engrossment. An impassioned vocal uptick emerges a minute thereafter, and carries into a riveting conclusion full of reveberating emotion. “Post Modern Life” is a memorably aggressive rock success from Factheory.

Factheory also recently released his debut album, Serenity in Chaos, on Bandcamp:
