Sabrina Carpenter recently had an interaction with Millie Bobby Brown at a show, and has been going viral for “arresting” the actor.
The moment took place during the pop star’s ongoing ‘Short N’ Sweet’ tour dates, which are currently underway across the US.
At the show in Atlanta, Georgia last night (October 22), the singer noticed the Stranger Things star in the crowd, and proceeded to have a lighthearted interaction mid-performance.
She included the actor in one of the three acts in the show, in which she chooses a member of the audience to “arrest” each night during ‘Don’t Touch That Dial!’ segment.
In footage shared by fans of the moment, Millie Bobby Brown is filmed by a cameraperson at the gig, getting giddy over the ‘Espresso’ singer. “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up. This girl is so hot,” Carpenter said, before asking the Enola Holmes star her name.

“Millie, I’ve never fallen in love at a concert before, but stranger things have happened,” she quipped. “It’s so unfortunate we have to arrest you because you’re so beautiful. That sucks.”
From there, Brown pleads with the singer to arrest her, before proudly holding up the fluffy pink handcuffs to the camera. Watch the footage above.
According to a report from Teen Vogue, the actor was at the Atlanta show as she is currently underway with the filming of Stranger Things’ fifth and final season, which is being shot there.
As for Carpenter, the ongoing tour dates come in celebration of her ‘Short N’ Sweet’ album, which NME rated four stars. “Her individuality occasionally feels a little diluted, the likes of ‘Good Graces’ and ‘Bed Chem’ moulded in Ariana Grande’s image,” it read. “For the most part, though, who Sabrina Carpenter is has never been clearer – and her long-awaited, hard-earned climb to pop’s summit should continue with ease.”
While her US tour dates continue tomorrow night (October 24) with a stop at the Kia Centre in Florida, the singer also recently announced the UK and European leg, which will take place next year with former NME Cover star Rachel Chinouriri as a special guest.
The shows kick off at 3Arena in Dublin on March 3, with further shows in Birmingham, London and Manchester – see all dates below and grab tickets here.
As for Stranger Things news, back in May fans were given a first look at season five. The show marked the halfway point of production on its final season in the summer, and Netflix later shared a behind-the-scenes video previewing what’s to come.
Filming began on the final season in January this year, having been delayed due to last year’s Hollywood strikes. Fans can expect eight episodes to wrap up the show’s story, with star Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley) recently teasing that they are “making, basically, eight movies”. “The episodes are very long,” she added.
