Myriad Are Tired Of ‘Living On The Internet’

Four-piece Myriad share ‘Living On The Internet’, a track that explores the impact of A.I. and constant online connectivity.

Myriad – Living On The Internet

Hailing from Southampton, Myriad is a four-piece indie pop band recognized in the independent music scene for their catchy hooks, energetic live performances, and relatable lyrics. Their sound is shaped by influences such as Foals, Two Door Cinema Club, The 1975, and The Killers.

Over the past year, this quartet has gained attention in the South Coast music scene, performing at notable venues and festivals like the Isle of Wight Festival, Heartbreakers Bar & Venue, and Teddy Rocks Festival. Their impact extends beyond the stage, with their single Afterglow surpassing 600,000 streams and continuing to grow.

A few months after releasing their radiant track Move To LA and selling out a headline show in Southampton this past March, Myriad returns with Living On The Internet. This sharp, thought-provoking track critiques the pitfalls of being chronically online, highlighting how endless scrolling has fostered a new generation deeply reliant on the internet, almost as if it were their life support.

With the explosive shout of “3 2 1 I’m gonna fuck up your life” and enough energy to make you jump out of your seat, Living On The Internet is the type of song you want to be featured in an alt-rock party. Its frantic drumming, rapid riffs, and electrifying chorus make it the perfect hymn to shake off stress and get lost in its irresistible rhythm.

“Living On The Internet is a vibrant, high-energy indie-rock track, fueled by its meaningful message and powerful instrumentation.”

Already gearing up for the year ahead, Myriad is set to play their biggest headline show yet on Saturday, January 18th, at The Joiners in Southampton. The event will celebrate the release of their new EP, Living On The Internet. Be sure to show your support and don’t miss out on this exciting night!
