Splendour Festival Reveal 25 New Names Plus 3 New Stages!

Splendour Festival in Nottingham’s Wollaton Park (July 19-20, 2025) expands with 25+ new acts joining headliners Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Travis, and Jake Bugg. The festival’s growth is marked by the introduction of three new stages, complementing the established Confetti, On The Hill, and Comedy stages.

The Bodega New Music Stage will serve as a platform for emerging national artists, curated by the renowned Nottingham venue, The Bodega. Known for its keen eye for talent, The Bodega, a recent nominee for Grassroots Venue of the Year, reinforces its commitment to supporting new music. The Dance Stage will feature Trevor Nelson’s Soul Nation on Saturday, with performances by Trevor Nelson himself and Shola Ama, while Sunday will celebrate Hedkandi’s 25th anniversary, featuring founder Mark Doyle and Hedkandi DJs. The Day Fever Stage, a unique addition, will see Vicky McClure, Johnny Owen, and Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers taking turns on the decks, inviting surprise guests to join them.

Beyond the musical performances, Splendour offers a wealth of entertainment, including two circus tents, a cabaret bar, an independent market, a fairground, and the ever-popular Silent Disco. The Comedy Stage will host a variety of acts across both days, while vibrant fringe entertainment will pop up throughout the festival grounds. On The Hill returns for a second year, offering a diverse lineup of DJs playing everything from Drum & Bass to Indie Sleaze and Taylor Swift anthems, with a nostalgic nod to 90s Rock City. Families will find a dedicated space at the Little Splendours children’s area, offering workshops and games throughout the weekend. With free entry for children under 11, the festival is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for all ages.

The newly announced acts, including Starsailor, Cassia, Lucy Spraggan, Remember Monday, and Set In Motion, join a lineup that already features Clean Bandit, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Natasha Bedingfield, Echo & The Bunnymen, Seasick Steve, The Levellers, The Fratellis, Elvana, LYVIA, Kezia Gill, The Publics, Kate Nash, Kingfishr, Overpass, Brooke Combe, and The Amy Winehouse Band. The Bodega New Music Stage will feature a curated selection of emerging artists, including Aziya, Bloodworm, Cardinals, Davoli, daydreamers, Nectar Woode, Pentire, Toby Lee, Tom A Smith, and TTSSFU, with more to be announced.

Celebrating its 17th year, Splendour has evolved into a 30,000-capacity flagship cultural event for the East Midlands, providing a significant boost to the local economy. The festival offers on-site accommodation and dedicated festival coaches from major cities and towns across the Midlands, ensuring easy access for attendees.
