Pyncher Share New Single, ‘Space Rocket Simulator.’

Following a string of sold-out headline shows in London and Manchester, and with further spring live dates scheduled, Manchester-based indie-rock quartet Pyncher have released their new single, the eccentric garage-rock track ‘Space Rocket Simulator,’ today, April 8th.

The new single sees Pyncher revel in the immediate impact of a compelling garage-rock riff while simultaneously showcasing their penchant for the unconventional and wonderfully strange. ‘Space Rocket Simulator’s genre-bending journey arrives after the band’s ‘debut single,’ ‘Get Along,’ which garnered significant attention including playlisting on Radio X X-Posure, airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music from New Music Fix, Amy Lamé, and Emily Pilbeam’s BBC Introducing Mixtape, as well as early support from publications like DIY, Rough Trade, and Louder Than War.

Of the track, the band’s Sam Blakely states,

Space Rocket Simulator explores the push and pull between freedom and connection, the tension between escaping one’s inner turmoil and yearning for emotional intimacy. The lyrics “If you want to see a window, just take a look outside” are a playful yet poignant invitation into a space where external exploration mirrors internal growth.”

Pyncher are maintaining a rapid pace in 2025 with a packed live schedule. Having previously shared stages with acclaimed acts such as English Teacher, Maruja, and Been Stellar, the band’s upcoming months include support slots for Delights and Hallan, a coveted performance at Brighton Psych Fest, and their largest headline show to date at YES Basement in May, which saw 75% of tickets sold within days of its announcement.
