Nintendo has warned Switch 2 owners not to remove the screen protector from the new console.
The Nintendo Switch 2 was announced earlier this year in a hardware-focused teaser trailer before more details were revealed in April, during an hour-long presentation. The bigger, more powerful console will feature enhanced graphics, reworked Joy-Con controllers and a lot more memory.
Over the past few weeks, Nintendo has been revealing more about the consola via their new Nintendo news app. The company has also shared an updated health & safety information booklet.
As part of the pack, Nintendo has revealed some “careful usage” tips which warns users about an in-build screen protector. “The screen is covered with a film layer designed to prevent fragments scattering in the event of damage. Do not peel it off,” warned Nintendo (via NintendoSoup).
