Willie J. Healey is set for his biggest UK headline tour this November, following a triumphant 18 months that included the success of his 2023 album, ‘Bunny,’ and his 2024 radio hit, “The Apple.” The five-date run will feature new material and culminate in his largest headline show to date at London’s Electric Ballroom.
‘Bunny,’ praised for its blend of ’70s funk, slacker soul, and Neil Young-inspired introspection, was named Album of the Year by Guy Garvey on BBC 6 Music and appeared on multiple end-of-year lists. Singles like “Dreams” and “Thank You” saw heavy rotation, while Healey cemented his live reputation supporting acts such as Florence + The Machine, Jamie T, and Arctic Monkeys. His latest single, “The Apple,” produced in New York with Loren Humphrey (Florence + The Machine, Arctic Monkeys), continues the album’s vibrant, groove-laced sound, signalling a bold new chapter.
Of the tour, Healey states,
I’m really excited to be visiting these cities in November and playing the biggest shows that I’ve played to date. I’ve got lots of new music and my aim is to be playing it for you all then. It’s a very exciting thought in my mind and I will be counting down the days.
Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 AM on Friday, June 20th. A special pre-sale is available two days earlier, starting 10 AM on Wednesday, June 18th, for fans who sign up for the mailing list.
