Aaron Young and HWAN Release EP Album "Ma Jia Xian"

Aaron Young and HWAN have released their comeback EP "Ma Jia Xian" on September 5, available on all major streaming platforms alongside exclusive physical albums and merchandise.

Debuting in the group Timez in 2012 and being close to a decade since Aaron’s last major project, anticipation for their return has been intense. Before the EP's release Aaron’s solo tracks such as Like Jennie (R&B Version) and Magnetic (R&B Version) went viral, sparking TikTok/Instagram dance challenges, even picked up by idols like Jake (ENHYPEN) and Jeon Somi.

Behind the EP is a tight creative unit featuring Ding Shao Hua (guitarist/singer-songwriter) based in China, Mello K, American born Korean producer who’s based in China who worked with Aaron in kicking off his solo career from the beginning, and Tazmeena Haque, British born based in Seoul, Korea (CEO of N7 Entertainment) leading A&R, creative direction, and songwriting support to make this EP happen.

“This album feels like opening my diary under the night sky, every song is a piece of who I was, who I am, and who I’m still becoming.” - Aaron Young

“We wrote these songs like conversations, sometimes between two people, sometimes between us and the universe.” - Hwan

The EP has five track. 'Ma Jia Xian (Oppa Ver.)' performed by Aaron Young and Hwan, is the viral comeback title blends smooth R&B with soulful pop and an upbeat dance pulse, sensual, confident, and addictive, powered by Aaron and Hwan’s contrasting vocals.

'Starlit Confessions' is a Dreamlike and cinematic, this track feels like a diary written under the night sky, love as both a secret and a constellation, drifting between vulnerability and wonder.

'No More' is driven by guitar lines and fluid R&B production, it’s a resolute, bittersweet closure. Aaron and Hwan trade perspectives on a love that’s run its course. 'California Drive' is a Aaron Young solo track that is a nostalgic road trip wrapped in vintage pop warmth, open highways, golden sunsets, fleeting youth; a soundtrack for chasing horizons and letting go. Finally, the original version of 'Ma Jia Xian' offers a more delicate, fluid R&B expression, airy melodies and a gentle flow; intimate and understated.
