Music’s primary role, for me, is that of an escape route and every time Georgia’s finest Southam make best use of ability of the art form. ‘Cut Your Hair’ is just another fine example as it deals in the kind of indie pop/rock that feels like it has amalgamated all the best childhood summers in one place. So the sun is out, the good times are in full flow and we’ve got the whole day to create memories of a lifetime. Faultless stuff. KH
