Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have been fooled by an AI-generated video “leak” that features new protagonist Lucia exploring the refreshed Vice City.
Grand Theft Auto 6 was meant to be out by now but earlier this month, the long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s GTA 5 was delayed for a second time. It’s now set to launch November 19, 2026.
Shortly after the first delay in May, Rockstar Games shared a new trailer, screenshots and information about the colourful cast of characters that would feature across the game. Despite rumours that a third trailer was set to launch this month, fans have been left waiting.
It’s perhaps why so many believed a “leak” that claimed to show Grand Theft Auto 6 protagonist Lucia exploring the rainy world of Vice City. The viral clip racked up more than 8million views in its first 24 hours.
