There is familiarity to this track that I just couldn’t put my finger on, but toe-tapping is not to be sniffed at and ‘Spark in your Eyes’ feels like keeper from about 30 seconds in. There is a sepia-tinged manner to the production but also in the patter between the lead singers which has an exuberance that can’t be faked. Simply pop that feels so alive you can reach out and touch it.
