Manchester-based artist Tom Wills engages on “Mid-Night Moves,” an infectious debut single that’s part of a four-track EP, featuring the original and three remixes. Produced by Sholz-Y, the release embraces a synth-driven dance-pop sound, with Wills’ expressive vocals and palpable energy igniting a club-ready atmosphere.

The original track is a vibrant, danceable success with hooky charisma. A nighttime ambience takes hold initially as brightening synths move in. Throbbing rhythms inject seamlessly alongside, with the vocals expressing a “hand-on-skin” fervency as they escalate in emotion. The irresistible title-touting hook follows, where clanging synth intensity and charismatic vocal allure combine with seamless, replay-inducing charm. A synth drop captivates thereafter, as does the higher-pitched “moves like nothing else exists” vocal quip. “Mid-Night Moves” is a dazzling electro-pop success.

The EP’s three remixes strut their own personalities, kicking off with the whirring, high-energy “Mid-Night Moves – Plant based Remix.” Brisker vocals and effervescent synth turns delight there, with the bridge being especially contagious and being propelled by a stutter-y percussion and vocal effect. Meanwhile, the “Fire Pit Remix” embraces a delectably hard-stomping rhythmic flair, being the most dance-ready and charismatic of the offerings. Finale “Giddy Monkey Remix” envelops with an initially spacey intrigue, arp-driven and structurally climactic as blaring synths shift into soaring textural maneuvers.
