The nominations for the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards have been revealed – check out the full list below:
The BAFTA Games Awards are set to take place on April 17 2026 and will “celebrate creative excellence in video games and the people who make them.” Ahead of the ceremony, more than 1700 BAFTA members voted in a number of different categories with the longlist revealed in December.
For the first time, the Performance, Artistic Achievement and Audio Achievement categories were voted on by specialist craft chapters made up of members with career expertise in these roles.
Now the nominations for the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards have been confirmed. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads the way with 12 nominations, making it the most nominated debut game in BAFTA Games Awards history breaking a record set by Death Stranding in 2020.
Dispatch picked up nine nominations, Ghost Of Yōtei achieved eight and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach has been nominated in seven categories.

“Today’s nominations recognise 42 outstanding games that highlight the very best of the global games industry,” said chair of BAFTA’s Games Committee, Tara Saunders.

The exceptional craft, artistry and innovation behind these titles shines through. A nomination is an extraordinary achievement, and I extend my warmest congratulations to every nominee for their innovation, hard work and resilience.”
The BAFTA Games Awards will take place April 17 and can be viewed live on YouTube.
