Brighton’s Homegrown Festival Expands 2026 Bill with Final Wave of Artists

Following two consecutive sold-out instalments, Homegrown Festival has bolstered its most ambitious edition to date with a fresh wave of names added to the April 11th lineup today. Organised by the Music Venues Alliance Brighton (MVAB), the festival is set to host 70 artists across nine of the city’s most vital grassroots music venues. Unlike traditional festivals, Homegrown is curated by the very venue teams who fill these rooms year-round, ensuring a bill that serves as a definitive pulse-check on the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming talent.

The 2026 lineup features a heavy-hitting mix of local heroes and, for the first time, “out of town” advocates who have supported the city’s scene. Brighton favourites Black Honey, CLT DRP, and Ebi Soda are set to lead the charge alongside newcomers like My Precious Bunny and thistle. Joining them are long-term visitors to the city, including Belfast noise-rockers Enola Gay and indie-rock artist jasmine.4.t. By blending established acts with artists on the cusp of a breakthrough, including the newly added Hutch, AtticOmatic, and Genn, the festival continues its mission of platforming the communities that keep the grassroots circuit thriving.

The organisers describe,

“This year, It’s been a real pleasure to welcome a select few acts, who though aren’t from our home City, have helped our home grow by being big supporters and advocates of why Grassroots Music Venues and artists are such an important part of the scene.”

With a reputation for intimate performances from future stars, following in the footsteps of past alumni like Marika Hackman and The Wytches, Homegrown remains a crucial celebration of Brighton’s unique musical ecosystem. Organisers emphasise that the city’s vibrant reputation is “the product of hard work, care, and a genuine love of grassroots music.” With these final additions now public, tickets are expected to move quickly as the festival tracks toward its third sell-out in a row.
