The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is filling cinemas now, but what songs feature on the soundtrack? Find the full list below.
The sequel to 2023’s wildly successful The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the film follows Mario, Luigi and friends as they venture through space to rescue Princess Rosalina from the evil Bowser Jr, who intends to conquer the galaxy.
Based on the Nintendo gaming franchise, it has been directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who also oversaw the previous film, as well as 2018’s Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.
Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black and Keegan-Michael Key reprise their roles from the last film, with Benny Safdie, Donald Glover, Glen Powell and Brie Larson joining the cast.

The early reviews for the new film have been divided, with some praising it for its rich fan service and its “visually striking visuals and action set pieces”, while others have blasted it as a “unpretentiously vapid cocktail of big-budget technical mastery and lack of artistic ambition”.
Earlier this month, a ratings description of the movie suggested The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will answer a long-standing Nintendo mystery about the relationship between Princess Peach and Rosalina.
It’s also been reported that Fox McCloud’s appearance in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie comes ahead of a brand new Star Fox game coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
Brian Tyler has returned from the first film and has composed the original score, and it has been described as “a full-blown auditory expedition, packed with joyful references and respectful nods to Nintendo’s original compositions by Koji Kondo”.
The score is also being released on physical media, with a 2LP set featuring 24 tracks from the film, as well as cassette and CD versions. Order your copy here.
