PlayStation Plus is Sony’s version of Xbox Game Pass and gives subscribers access to a library of games alongside a variety of online features using three different tiers.

The Essential tier lets players access a select number of games that change every few weeks for £6.99 a month. Extra is available for £10.99 and gives subscribers access to Game Catalogue, a library of “hundreds of games from genre-defining blockbusters to innovative indies”. Premium adds more classic titles and game trials to the offering for £13.49 a month.

Earlier this month, Sony confirmed a trio of games would be coming to the Essential tier this April, with Lords Of The Fallen, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream available from April 7.

Now Sony has announced all the games that will be available for Extra and Premium subscribers.

The games coming to PlayStation Plus’ Premium and Extra tier this April 2026 are:

  • The Crew Motorfest (PS4, PS5) – April 21 for Premium and Extra
  • Horizon Zeron Dawn Remastered (PS5) – April 21 for Premium and Extra
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Collection (PS4) – April 21 for Premium and Extra
  • Football Manager 26 (PS5) – April 21 for Premium and Extra
  • Warriors: Abyss (PS4, PS5) – April 21 for Premium and Extra
  • Squirrel With A Gun (PS5) – April 21 for Premium and Extra
  • The Casting Of Frank Stone (PS5) – April 21 for Premium and Extra

  • Wild Arms (PS4, PS5) – April 21 for Premium

Last year Sony announced that PS Plus would be “shifting focus” to the PS5 in 2026 but is still offering a lot of PlayStation 4 compatible titles with the service. According to reports, the PS6 is due to launch in 2027 alongside a handheld console to rival the Nintendo Switch 2. However, some experts have warned that the Grand Theft Auto 6 delay could push the next wave of consoles to 2028, while the scarcity of memory chips is also rumoured to be disrupting Sony’s plans for a new PlayStation.

Sony has also confirmed plans for a live-action Horizon Zero Dawn movie. “Just imagine, Aloy’s beloved origin story set in a vibrant, far future world filled with the giant machines, brought to you for the first time on the big screen,” said head of PlayStation Productions Asad Qizilbash. There’s still no word on cast or director but Sony are hoping to start filming this year ahead of a planned 2027 release.

In other news, Capcom’s new sci-fi shooter Pragmata is already a hit with critics ahead of its launch on Friday (April 17).
