Alan Carr and Paloma Faith make up at BAFTAs following ‘Celebrity Traitors’ ‘murder’

Alan Carr and Paloma Faith appear to have made up after the comedian ‘murdered’ the singer on The Celebrity Traitors.

During the inaugural series of the BBC show last year, Carr – who was a Traitor and later went on to win the show – took out Faith early on, despite their friendship.

The comedy star later claimed that the pair were no longer friends after the episode, though things appeared to take a more positive turn at last night’s (Sunday May 10) BAFTA TV Awards.

Early on in the ceremony, host Greg Davies poked fun at the controversy by noting the show made Carr into a “manipulative serial killer”, adding: “We all know he’s a good person.” It then cut to Faith in the audience wagging her finger in protest.

Carr later won the Memorable Moment award, which is voted for by the public, for his winning moment at the end of the series.

At the end of his acceptance speech, the star said: “I’ve got to dedicate this to Paloma – there ‘s no one else I would rather murder more than you, I love you.”

Earlier on, the official BAFTA X account posted a clip of the two together on the red carpet, writing: “Breaking News: Alan Carr and Paloma Faith are still friends.”

Speaking back in October, Carr was asked on the Life’s A Beach podcast whether he was still mates with Faith, the star replying: “Well I was… I’ll tell you. I’ve killed Paloma Faith, she’s not happy about it.”
