RAYE is set to make her acting debut in a forthcoming film by Top Boy director Yann Demange.
The South London singer, who previously made a cameo as herself in the Netflix drama Black Rabbit starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law, has been cast in forthcoming crime movie Lineage.
Written by Enda Walsh, whose credits include Steve McQueen movie Hunger, and based on a story by Demange, the film was developed by the pair over the past two years.
Set in modern-day London, the film follows Tariq, a father who is trying to rebuild his life after being imprisoned before his brother draws him back to the criminal underworld.
