The Boroughs is Netflix’s new buzzy sci-fi show, but what songs appear on the soundtrack? Find the full list below.
The six-episode series comes from executive producers The Duffer Brothers, the creators of Stranger Things, and it has stars Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, Geena Davis and Denis O’Hare as residents of a retirement community that become confronted with a strange set of mysteries.
A synopsis reads: “In a seemingly picturesque retirement community, a group of unlikely heroes must band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing the one thing they don’t have…time.”

The show has been created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, previously known for writing The Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim and The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance. All six episodes premiered on Netflix on May 21.
NME gave The Boroughs a four-star review, noting: “Like Stranger Things, The Boroughs is hard to pigeon-hole. There are elements of family drama, shades of comedy and moments of schlocky horror, but it’s just as intriguing as the Netflix hit’s early years.”
The show includes an original score from the American composer John Paesano, known for his work on Daredevil, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes and the Maze Runner films.
In addition, the show makes use of a huge range of big name needle drops, with songs from the likes of David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Lauryn Hill, Siouxsie And The Banshees and Bill Withers.
