STARGLOW Release “Good Boys Anthem” Following Double Nomination at MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026

STARGLOW, the five-member dance and vocal group born from BMSG’s audition project THE LAST PIECE, have released the music video for their new track “Good Boys Anthem”.

Marking the group’s first full-scale action music video, “Good Boys Anthem” pushes STARGLOW into a more cinematic direction, blending emotionally charged storytelling with explosive visuals that reflect the struggles, frustrations, and bonds of youth.

The release arrives amid STARGLOW’s rapid rise in Japan and beyond. Their debut single “Star Wish” topped the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking and reached No.3 on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100, while follow-up release “USOTSUKI” hit No.1 on the Oricon Weekly Digital Single Ranking and No.2 on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100.

The group has also been nominated in two categories at MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026Best New Artist and Radio Special Award: Radio Rising Artist of the Year. Internationally, STARGLOW was selected by global music media outlet NME as the only Japanese act included in its “100 Essential Emerging Artists for 2026,” further highlighting the group’s growing attention both inside and outside Japan.

Built around distorted guitars and a heavy shoegaze-inspired sound, “Good Boys Anthem” explores the emotional conflicts and uncertainty faced by young people today. Members TAIKI and GOICHI participated in writing the lyrics, bringing a raw and personal perspective to themes of vulnerability, pride, and human connection.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Hiroshi Shinagawa, the music video unfolds as a gritty coming-of-age drama about friendship, conflict, and reunion.

Shifting between rain-soaked warehouse fight scenes and nostalgic flashbacks of the members as a school band, the story follows five friends whose bond begins to fracture under the pressures of adulthood and harsh reality before ultimately finding their way back to one another.
