Adult Swim’s biggest show, Rick And Morty, is back for a ninth season.
Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the animated sci-fi sitcom has grown into a world conquering franchise since it debuted in 2013. It isn’t going anywhere anytime soon either, as it has been renewed through to season ten.
A synopsis for the ninth season reads: “Rick And Morty is back, baby! Season nine is all certified bangers. No AI slop! Just Grade A organic slop, made by real humans with real human traits like back hair and cysts. Please watch, or we’ll have neglected our families for nothing.”
The first episode of season nine, titled There’s Something About Morty, was released on May 25, 2026 in the UK.
While previous seasons of Rick And Morty have usually aired first on Channel 4 in the UK, this has changed with season nine. Now, brand new episodes will arrive on NOW and HBO Max, a day after they air in the US on Adult Swim.
If you want to catch-up with the prior eight seasons, they’re available to stream on NOW and HBO Max in the UK too.
You can check out a breakdown of when every episode of drops in the UK below, with episode two set to arrive on Monday, June 1.
