KPOPS! Soundtrack is Bridging Artists and Genres Together


    With K-Pops! making its Netflix debut, so did its official soundtrack. K-Pops! tells the story of BJ, an American musician trying to re-establish his career by working as a drummer on a K-pop competition series. While working, he discovers he has a son who is a contestant on the show. This causes him to learn valuable lessons about family, culture, and support. Anderson.Paak plays a major role in the movie, not only directing and co-writing it but also starring in it and creating the soundtrack. 
    The soundtrack brought together many global stars and iconic collaborations from JID to JO1. As the album was also co-produced alongside Dem Jointz, whose signature “incoming!” producer tag has become well known throughout K-pop, working with artists like AESPA, EXO, SHINEE, and many other artists. This has had fans talking about the line-up of artists brought in for the project. Here are some of the tracks you can find on the release: 

    Keychain: AESPA and Anderson .Paak


    The collaboration between the two was first announced on social media, as at the time it marked AESPA’s first release of the year. With Keychain, being released on February 27th, 2026, it was announced as part of the soundtrack for the film as well. 




    Aftertase: DEAN and Anderson .Paak


    After 11 years, DEAN and Anderson .Paak has reunited to create “Aftertaste.” This had fans thrilled about the collaboration and had the teasers draw in almost a million views within 24 hours. 




    CAUTION: NMIXX and Anderson .Paak 


    Caution is the second track off the soundtrack, and fans find it a hit with the mix of both artists' strengths, calling it “the collaboration we didn’t know we needed”. With Lily being a credited lyricist for the track. 




    TOO BAD: G-Dragon and Anderson .Paak 


    The iconic collaboration of 2025 is back with a twist. The song originally came out in 2025, which created an all-time chart record from MelOn to Spotify. And gained praise for its fun and witty sound.
