Few artists blur the lines between music, fashion, and creative expression as effortlessly as LØREN. The South Korean alt-rock musician, producer, and DJ has built a reputation for his raw sound, distinctive visual identity, and fearless approach to storytelling.

Following the success of The Waits and a string of acclaimed live performances at festivals and venues around the world, LØREN is entering a new chapter with the release of his latest single, “EMERGENCY,” a track that showcases the emotional intensity and rock-driven spirit at the heart of his evolving artistry.

At the same time, he is inviting fans deeper into his world through an exclusive partnership with Poshmark, opening his personal archives and sharing pieces from the wardrobe that has accompanied him throughout his creative journey.

In an exclusive interview for KpopWise, LØREN reflects on the inspiration behind “EMERGENCY,” the connection between fashion and music, and why authenticity continues to shape everything he creates.

Was there a particular piece from your "The Waits" tour wardrobe that instantly had to be included in this archive drop?

LØRENThe Blackmeans Labrat leather jacket. I've worn it everywhere for years, including in the All My Friends Are Turning Blue music video. Poshmark is the perfect way to share these memories. This partnership goes beyond a standard merch drop – it lets my fans literally own a piece of my story and creative journey.

You've performed at Coachella, HITC, SXSW, and KCON. Which stage experience still influences the way you create music today?
LØREN: My recent solo tour shows. Festivals are great, but performing in intimate spaces and feeding off the fans' energy is unmatched. That close connection is why Poshmark LIVE is such a natural fit. Instead of just posting a photo, we get to recreate that intimate tour experience by hanging out, interacting live, and sharing the stories behind these pieces.

When fans hear "EMERGENCY" for the first time, what part of the song do you think will surprise them most?
LØREN: The raw emotion. I think it will surprise listeners and hopefully resonate with them. I always aim to push boundaries in both music and fashion, and I’m excited to finally share this.

Is there an item in the Poshmark collection that captures where you are creatively right now?
LØREN: It’s not about a single item; it’s about sharing a piece of myself. There is a thrill in discovering clothing that feels meant for you. I’m parting with these pieces to pass that magic and sense of discovery on to my fans, giving these garments a second life through Poshmark.

John Feldmann and Brian Lee helped shape "The Waits." What did you learn from those collaborations that carried into "EMERGENCY"?
LØREN: I actually wrote EMERGENCY before The Waits, so it doesn't directly reflect that specific era, but I learned a lifetime's worth of lessons from John and Brian, and every song I've made since carries pieces of those collaborations.

Your style often blends vintage fashion with a modern rock edge. Do you discover music and clothing in similar ways?
LØREN: I approach them differently. My music taste is broad, but my personal style is very specific. In both worlds, I rely heavily on intuition. If something resonates with me, whether a song or an item on Poshmark, I gravitate toward it.

Looking back at the pieces you're selling, can you pinpoint an outfit that marked a turning point in your career?
LØREN: My Chucks. I've gone through at least ten pairs, and they’ve been with me through every pivotal point in my career. I believe true style is found, not manufactured, you have to hunt for it. That’s why I love vintage clothing, and it’s exactly what Poshmark’s new app experience is built around.
