Quite the piano bounce to this one and Aurel do have a way of adding the right amount of ambience and cool to Là-bas so that we’re transported clear of daily concerns. Instead there a weight lifted here, a balmy breeze to the face kind of song and suddenly everything feels good enough to invite a bop or two when minutes earlier it didn’t seem possible. Indie pop levity to this degree is rare but my god it’s most welcome. KH
