“Believe in Love Again” — Listen to the Anthemic New Wave of NINA and Radio Wolf’s “JUKEBOX DREAM Vol. 1”

Find the one who makes you believe in love again

Find the one who helps you up so you can walk again

Don‘t let go

Just hang on tight

NINA and Radio Wolf’s JUKEBOX DREAM Vol 1 begins with the kind of promise that used to glow from a dashboard radio after midnight, when every song felt as though it had been sent personally through the static. Released via NewRetroWave, the two-volume project treats the single as a doorway, with each track built like a short movie where desire, memory, and escape keep switching seats in the back of the car.

JUKEBOX DREAM carries a dark romantic charge, but its strongest moments come from the blend of sleek electronics and live-wire rock feeling. It sounds built for headphones, highways, and the private mythology people make from songs when the right chorus catches them at exactly the right second.

The duo calls these songs “electro-jukebox” singles, and the phrase fits because the music has the direct emotional pull of an old 45 while moving with the scale and sheen of modern electronic rock. Radio Wolf’s guitar brings a human hand to the machine, bending notes until they seem to lean toward NINA’s voice. Around them, the synths rise in wide beams, the drums hit with dance-floor purpose, and the production opens enough space for romance to feel dangerous again.

The lead single, To See You, serves as the album’s calling card. It has the feel of a memory returning before the mind has agreed to recognize it, all ache, motion, and chrome-lit longing. NINA sings as though distance has become a physical place, somewhere you can drive through if the road holds out. Radio Wolf answers with guitar lines that glow around the edges, cutting through the arrangement with a rock ’n’ roll instinct that keeps the track from floating away. Their retro synthwave sound brings to mind Patty Smyth, Berlin, and The Motels.

The record’s official description promises ghost lovers, moonlit escapes, starlit highways, and dreams running wild, yet the appeal lies in how seriously NINA and Radio Wolf treat that romantic excess. They lean into the grandeur without winking at it. Their own description says the album should feel “like stepping through a portal into another dimension where listeners can escape, break free and lose themselves in the music.” That sounds huge on paper, but “To See You” earns the scale by keeping the ache close to the skin.

Each track on the album is accompanied by an official visualizer created by I’m Your Boss (Oasis / Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds). See the rest here.
