na, the first-ever global pop girl group from Indonesia, announces their debut full-length album island girl, out September 18 via 88rising

The group of Baila, Shaz, Christy, and Esther released their first single in May 2025 and have since garnered over half a billion streams, rose global charts, and earned over 3 billion views on TikTok alone for their recent viral single “rollerblade.” To celebrate today’s announcement of island girl, no na releases new single “honk!” The vibrant, playful song encapsulates no na’s larger-than-life confidence alongside their cheeky humor, even harmonizing with an Indonesian angkot’s horn.

From the metallic pulse of ceng-ceng in “work” to the chimes of gamelan in “rollerblade” to the staccato of an angkot minibus horn opening today’s brand new single “honk!”, everything no na does centers Indonesian culture – even the group’s name plays on the word for “miss.” Their forthcoming debut album is filled with a genre of their own making, Island Pop, which takes influence from the tropical warmth of their home and weaves it with the global sounds of '80s R&B, reggaeton, new jack swing, and synth-funk. The album’s 15 songs treat flirtation, femininity, and friendship as equally worthy of an anthem, and prize confidence and fearlessness while coming of age.

no na made their US live debuts at Head In The Clouds LA and NYC in 2025. Next month, the group will return to Head In The Clouds LA on August 8.
