On August 6th, THE BOYZ members—Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric—finalized contracts to continue group activities and decided to maintain the team as a nine-member unit moving forward. The group is currently preparing for activities under a new label system.
Before discussing individual plans, the members agreed to first establish the group's direction. They determined that ensuring the stable continuation of team activities was the top priority, taking into account the expectations and concerns of the fans who have been with them for a long time.
Consequently, the members plan to pursue individual activities by signing separate contracts with agencies that align with their respective capabilities and career paths. However, they intend to run THE BOYZ activities in parallel through a close cooperative system, ensuring there are no disruptions to team operations.
The members stated, "Our resolve that the nine of us must stay together has never changed from the very beginning," adding, "We wanted to share this news with the fans who have waited for THE BOYZ first." They continued, "We will strive to continue the time we have shared with fans under the name THE BOYZ while doing our best in our respective individual roles.
