“the one you want to lose” is a sensible pop track woven together with the loving embrace of a sturdy and true indie folk softness, showcasing Bugg’s captivating vocals and personal depth. While no heartbreak is planned, few stories sung so fervently will look that loss in the eyes and still declare its open, bleeding heart like Bugg can.
