The Kiwi pop star topped the bill at the London festival, which took place at Victoria Park last night (August 22), featuring performances from PinkPantheress, Zara Larsson, 2hollis, Oklou, Audrey Hobert, Rose Gray, Esha Tewari, ML Buch and Fabiana Palladino, and more.

During her set, which drew heavily from 2025’s ‘Virgin‘, Lorde said it was “so crazy” to be headlining the London festival, particularly given she played at the festival’s first-ever edition back in 2018.

Midway through her performance, she said: “I think this is literally the best line-up I’ve ever been part of. It’s crazy, I went around this afternoon and watched people and I was really struck by what this group of artists are doing. I felt so honoured to be a part of it.

“This group of artists that you’ve seen today have been trying to imagine a new world, it’s like I’ve been trying to find new ways to live, new ways to see, I really felt that.”

Lorde at All Points East 2026 played:

‘Royals
‘What Was That’
‘Broken Glass’
‘Perfect Places’
‘Shapeshifter’
‘Buzzcut Season’
‘Favourite Daughter’
‘The Louvre’
‘Current Affairs’
‘Hard Feelings’
‘Oceanic Feeling’
‘Liability’
‘Hammer’
‘Supercut’
‘Team’
‘Man of the Year’
‘Girl, so confusing’ (Charli XCX cover)
‘Green Light’
‘David’
‘Ribs’

Elsewhere during the evening, she recalled coming to Victoria Park with someone she had a crush on – something she described as “almost agony” – and told the crowd: “It didn’t stop, he’s here tonight”.

Another notable moment came when she performed ‘Liability’, and projected video footage of her earlier years onto her shirt, while a banner which read “I don’t belong to anyone 2013” was passed out into the crowd during ‘Virgin’ album closer, ‘David’.

‘Virgin’ was given a four-star review by NME, which read: “‘Virgin’ is a vibrant combination of Lorde’s best qualities, and then some.”

“With her newfound candour, the record combines the emotional whirlwind of ‘Melodrama’, the chilling minimalism of ‘Pure Heroine’ and the breezy freedom of ‘Solar Power’,” it added. “This might be called ‘Virgin’, but Lorde proves she’s not afraid to strip herself bare.”

Last month, Lorde marked the first anniversary of the record by sharing a collection of demos from the album, as well as a newsletter detailing the making of it.

She also opened up about the emotional weight of the record, admitting that sharing it felt “raw and exposing in a new way,” particularly as she worked on it while navigating personal challenges, including a breakup, an eating disorder, and a PMDD [Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder] diagnosis.”

She’ll follow up the appearance at All Points east with an appearance at Bristol’s Forwards Presents next week, and will also play at the Edinburgh Summer Sessions – and you can find tickets here.
