An immersive rock entrancement with alternative and shoegaze savvy shines on “Nameless Faces,” a new single from Hattricks, a quartet based in the Raleigh/Durham area. Subdued vocals and a droning guitar ascent build into a sweltering dose of distortion, resembling A Perfect Circle in the balancing of moody vocal theatrics and heavy rock vigor. A brisker tonal maneuvering takes hold just prior to the two-minute mark, carrying into a feverish outro, where hard-rocking energy and murmured spoken-word glimpses assemble for a wholly satiating send-off. “Nameless Faces” is a stirring single from Hattricks.
