Girls' Generation-HRS "Skibidi" on Down to the Dance Floor with Debut Single


    Girls' Generation-HRS has made their official debut! The single "Skibidi" released on August 31 – showcases the unit's unique style.

    The release features two tracks: the title song ‘Skibidi’ and the B-side ‘Lowkey In Love.’ The title track ‘Skibidi’ with lyrics by hit-maker KENZIE stands out for its dynamic composition, transitioning from house to hip-hop; this genre-blending progression highlights the group's unique identity, while Arabian string samples woven throughout add an exotic flair. Additionally, the track wittily incorporates the youthful viral "Skibidi" meme—using it like an onomatopoeic phrase—and connects it to the message of "forging our own new path" to create a fun, energetic vibe.


    The B-side ‘Lowkey In Love’ is a dance-pop track that captures the group's signature cheerful and positive energy. It features a retro mood that evokes nostalgic memories, while a blend of upbeat brass sounds, a rhythmic groove, and a catchy melody delivers a delightful sense of vitality. With the group's diverse vocals and dynamic performances set to further highlight the song's bright and lovely charm, the release is expected to garner a positive response.
