JUNHEE to Represent Korea in Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026

JUNHEE, soloist and known as leader of group A.C.E, topped Korea’s Next Wave national final on September 4, earning the spot to represent his country at Eurovision Song Contest Asia in Bangkok on November 14.

His energetic electronic track 'DEEP DIVE,' co-written with AleXa, beat seven other acts through jury, local, and global votes, with Sojeong Shim in second and Angel Noise third.

In a touching note, JUNHEE thanked supporters for carrying him this far and vowed to shine on the bigger stage, capping a night of polished performance and fan celebration.

I still can’t believe this. Today, I won Eurovision 2026 Korea Next Wave, and I will represent South Korea. To all the fans who voted for me, cheered for me, and stayed with me, anxiously waiting until this moment, and to everyone around the world who watched my performance, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. The moment the results were announced, before the feeling of joy, your faces came to mind first. Because I know all too well that this isn’t a result I achieved alone. As a singer, I’ve gone through countless moments, and there were days when I doubted myself.

But I could keep singing because there were all of you who waited for my music, believed in my potential, and gave me the strength to get back on stage. That’s why today’s result means more to me than just a simple “win.” Now, I will stand on the Eurovision Asia 2026 stage as an artist representing South Korea. I won’t forget the weight of that name. So that you, who chose me, can feel proud, I will pour everything I have onto that stage. Thank you so much for creating an unforgettable moment for me today. You brought me all the way here. Now, I’ll take you to an even bigger stage. Once again, thank you, and I love you all. And now, it begins. See you in Bangkok
