Tim Westwood has been charged with sexual offences against two more women.
The Metropolitan Police said the former BBC Radio 1 DJ has been charged with indecent assault against a teenage girl aged 16 to 17 in Hammersmith and Fulham in 1991 and the alleged sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman in Wandsworth in 2004.
These charges are in addition to those brought against Westwood in October 2025 relating to seven women, which include four counts of rape.
Westwood is now facing a total of 17 charges involving nine women between 1983 and 2016.
He previously pleaded not guilty to the four counts of rape he is facing, as well as nine counts of indecent assault and two of sexual assault in Southwark Crown Court, where he is due to face trial on January 25, 2027.
Westwood is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on a date yet to be fixed in relation to the latest alleged offences.
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy, from the Metropolitan Police, told Sky News: “The women who have made reports have placed their trust in us, and we remain committed to providing them with all available support.”
Catherine P Baccas, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor, added: “These new charges, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police, relate to separate reports of non-recent offences in 1991 and 2004 involving two additional women.
“Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring these additional charges to court and that it is in the public interest to pursue further criminal proceedings.”
Westwood stepped down from his Capital Xtra radio show shortly after the initial allegations emerged, and has consistently denied all claims raised against him.
One alleged victim claims that Westwood indecently assaulted her three times at BBC Studios in the 1990s, and other claims include accusations of rape at a London hotel, sexual assault at a London festival, and other claims of kissing, groping and forcing himself onto the women without consent.
