It’s that time of the year again – time to objectify your favourite idols in the Kpopalypse Objectification Survey results! Let’s take a look at the winners for 2026 in the all-important category of upper-body objectification!

Every year I write some thing here about why I do these objectification surveys for the knuckleheads who don’t get it (or just copy-paste the same shit from last year and hope nobody notices), but honestly a list like this doesn’t require justification. In today’s k-pop landscape where k-pop fans are as conservative and brainwashed as any fundamentalist religious cult member, and conversely all the “adult” k-pop content is AI-generated slop, ugly deepfakes or terrible Photoshops, there’s a desperate need for a middle-ground of sanity where the effort that k-pop’s men and women put into their appearances is appreciated. The entire industry runs on objectification, and if you’re following k-pop in any manner at all then you’re part of it, so why not embrace it? Let’s be honest, those of you who like these posts skip this introduction bit because you don’t need a stupid copy-pasted preamble, and the people who hate these posts don’t read it either because they mostly can’t read and that’s why they don’t understand this entire site to begin with and get so mad about everything. I could write anything I want here and nobody would even see it. Lately I’ve been watching some gay porn and noticing that I suddenly get a little excited when the penis comes out, the feeling fades a few seconds later but it’s definitely there for a split second. Maybe this means I’m secretly gay, or perhaps I’ve just watched so much porn in general and have fucked my dopamine receptors so much that I now associate seeing a dick coming out of someone’s pants with sexual pleasure. A thesis topic for some bold caonima out there.
As per previous years, voters were asked to choose up to three nominees in each category, best first, and points were allocated as per the following system:
Scores were then tallied to give the final results across all categories.
The four results posts are as follows:
Part 1: FEMALE BOOBS and MALE ABS/TORSO – this post!
Part 2: FEMALE and MALE ASSES – coming soon!
Part 3: FEMALE and MALE LEGS – coming soon!
Part 4: OVERALL MOST ATTRACTIVE FEMALES and MALES – coming soon!
Remember folks – that if you object to any of the choices here for any reason, you only have yourselves to blame as these were 100% your votes, not mine. Kpopalypse does not even cast a vote – these are NOT my picks but YOURS, and this isn’t like a rigged Korean TV show where the “judges” get a say and can overturn fan opinion. If you want to see a certain result, then it’s your responsibility to spread the surveys to the people who are going to vote for your faves!
On the other hand, if you object to this entire post in general, and you are actually capable of reading this amount of words, greetings to you. I hope you’re enjoying being a secret fan of this site. You tried to resist clicking on this but you were weak and just couldn’t stop yourself, could you? That’s okay, I understand. Don’t worry, I don’t have advertising like every other k-pop site ever, I won’t try to use your data to redirect you to a site that sells you a blow up Wonho inflatable doll, even though you probably would like that.

After being outpaced by Eunbi last year, Karina is now firmly back in the top spot! A busy schedule for aespa no doubt helped her to ascend to the heights of the results. Congratulations, Karina!

It was always going to be difficult for Eunbi to top her Waterbomb performance from 2025 in terms of visual impact. Without the same level of follow-up activity, she’s slipped out of the #1 position, but has still maintained a solid second placing probably just from reputation alone.

A pivot to overseas performances hasn’t hurt Jihyo’s placings at all, and the more relaxed attitude to boob presentation in western pop may have even helped. Even though I am not westernpopalypse, I am still qualified to tell you that Jihyo’s position in third place remains secure!

H1-key have been fairly active in 2026, and Yel moved up in the placings due to her group’s enhanced visibility… not that H1-key have been hugely visible on the world stage but Yel is definitely doing what she can to address this, let’s support her.

Kiss Of Life’s Natty dipped massively in the placings last year because people were sad that she didn’t send out enough birthday party invitations, but in 2026 everyone’s decided to be good neighbours and swing Natty some more votes again. Also Waterbomb might have helped. Or may Jay Park just voted a lot, who knows.

Jeewon’s pivot to rock music in Latency didn’t last long, and probably hurt her “brand” a bit due to all those guitar straps getting in the way, although personally I’m very biased towards a bit of girl rocking so I didn’t mind at all and would have loved it if Latency became more active. Jeewon has since moved back to more Waterbomb-friendly material, probably due to getting sick of having to help lug her bandmates’ instruments around. I guess there’s only so much one person can carry!

Chaeyeon’s appearance has definitely been getting some attention this year, with some people buzzing about her being the “next Karina”, and a lot of other people clutching their pearls over discussions about her “pearly volume”. Does she have what it takes to challenge Karina’s reputation? You can be the judge of that!

Momo is back in the polls and is anyone surprised? It’s hard to imagine these survey results without Momo in them, but maybe that day will come – one day? Not any day in 2026 though!

As usual, the polls this year are dominated by veterans with very few newcomers. The first new entrant for the survey results this year is Athena from Fifty Fifty, who seems to have gained some attention from Waterbomb. Although she’s new to the polling it’s easy to forget that Fifty Fifty have been around for nearly half a decade, even though Athena only joined when Starry Night was released, now that’s a pretty good song that you could go and listen to if you wanted.

The reactivation of IOI this year has seen Somi become more active, and she’s gained a couple places in the polls as a result of her enhanced public profile.

Bibi is someone who I’m amazed doesn’t chart more here given the strong commitment to visuals across her exceptionally well-produced music videos, so it’s good to see her popping up because she definitely deserves votes for effort alone. As an independent artist it’s tough and she definitely deserves support, so anything we can do to increase her profile is a good thing!

People will probably give me shit for putting Ahyeon in this survey at all because she’s both popular and relatively young compared to other entrants here, but she’s Babymonster’s designated “visual” member so the fact people voted for her visuals is just the system that YG set up, and that Babymonster fans support, working as intended. Personally I couldn’t even recognise Ahyeon if she walked by me in the street, but surveydoers were firm in their appreciation of Ahyeon and who am I to argue? I just collect your votes without bias. I hope the celebrity life is kind to her and she doesn’t get accused of “being lazy” a million times like Jennie was and still is… oh who am I kidding, that’s already started. We can’t expect k-pop fans to be as moral and virtuous as Kpopalypse, now can we.

Dayoung has been in the k-pop game for a while but she’s another newcomer to the polls, so she rounds out our results! Personally I would have preferred to have Eunha in this space, but she just missed out on picture status in this category, which should be proof enough that I’m not rigging this thing.

Although the margins were much closer than previous years, that might just be because the voting for this year was much lower than previous years overall. Wonho still managed to snag the #1 spot in a feat that I’m sure nobody could have predicted.

San had an amazing 2026, rocketing up to the number two spot in the Kpopalypse polls and almost dethroning the king himself! This photo comes with helpful instructions from San himself about where you should be looking, just in case you’re new to this objectification thing.

JYP had his best year yet in the upper body section of the polls, all those Waterbomb performances plus his sexy angsty preaching are really starting to pay dividends with the man upstairs, who probably influenced the voting here. Who says that objectification is evil and sinful? Are you denying the beauty of the lord’s creations, you filthy sinner? How dare you preach morals to others when the righteous christian JYP is here kindly and graciously showing your unworthy soul the path to the light? Ask the lord, and you shall receive!

Shownu was a popular choice this year after dipping out of the polls in previous years, not sure what that was about because he still looks as impressive as he ever did!

Another Waterbomb beneficiary, Minhyuk easily hung onto his place this year in a poll with much movement, all while exhibiting a few movements of his own.

From20 has definitely been stepping up the visuals lately, and his polling reflects this, with Kpopalypse readers rewarding the effort and rising him well into the top ten!

Wait, is that skinny man standing between the Le Sserafim girls actually Shindong? Yes it is! That might explain his plummet in the polls this year, the poor man is practically wasting away. Idols and their extreme dieting is terrifying, we’ve lost another one folks. How am I supposed to goon to this? Someone get Wonho on the phone to teach this man how to bulk!

Taeyang was the man who practically invented k-pop abs back in the day, he PAVED THE WAY for your bias to take off his shirt. BigBang’s recent comeback activity helped Taeyang achieve the spike in popularity needed to hit the top ten!

Taeyong has historically been a bit shy about showing his abs, but he’s finally crept back into the polls this year, probably thanks to the need to display his new weird-ass tattoos – and you thought Nana’s were bad. I think the tattoo artist might’ve been a victim of one of his eBay scams seeking revenge.

Kai doesn’t really do much fanservice these days, and his recent polling reflects this, with him dropping down quite a few places.

Sunghoon doesn’t seem to get his abs out much – so much so, that he seemingly won’t do it unless someone else is there with him. I guess he’s a little shy or something. In fact while searching for images for this post I found images officially made by his company of him shirtless that were AI-generated. Maybe this is even one of them. It’s pretty sad times when a k-pop agency is deepfaking their own artists. I hope you’re appreciative of this site making you aware of these important issues.

Wyatt from ONF finishes off our upper body results, marking the first time that ONF have been represented in picture status! I’m not sure what that sign says on his chest, perhaps “vote for me in the Kpopalypse Objectification Survey”. At least some of you thought that wasn’t a bad idea.
