Jeong Seunghwan Goes Viral During Ground Forces Festival, Gains Over 90,000 Instagram Followers

Former ATBO member, 22-year old, Jeong Seunghwan is capturing widespread attention after his recent appearance at the 2026 Ground Forces Festival in Gyeryong.

Currently serving in the South Korean military, Seunghwan took part in performances at the annual festival, where his striking visuals, natural charm, and confident stage presence quickly caught the attention of spectators.

Fancams from the event began circulating across social media, giving the public a glimpse of Seunghwan's performance skills and charisma while dancing to songs including 'It's Me' by ILLIT and 'Bad' by ATEEZ, and Love Killer by MONSTA X, making people curious about his identity.

The attention has already translated into a significant social media boost. Seunghwan reportedly gained approximately 90,000 new Instagram followers in just 48 hours following his initial festival appearances.

Seunghwan debuted as a member of ATBO in July 2022 after winning first place on MBN's survival program THE ORIGIN – A, B, Or What? He enlisted in the military in October 2025 and is currently completing his mandatory service.

ATBO's contract with IST Entertainment ended in December 2025, bringing the group's activities with the agency to a close. Since then, Seunghwan's appearance at the Ground Forces Festival has offered a reminder of the charm and stage presence that first made fans fall for him.

With his enlistment expected to conclude next year, the sudden surge of interest has many already looking forward to seeing what Seunghwan does next. If his latest viral moment is any indication, there will be plenty of eyes on his return to entertainment activities.
