Sam Fender has announced his ‘Proper Massive Stadium Tour’ which hits the UK next summer and includes his biggest headline shows to date.
The new dates arrive after the North Shields star dropped a video on social media yesterday (Tuesday October 19), having previously shown an advertisement for ‘SF27’ during Newcastle United’s defeat to Aston Villa at St James’ Park over the weekend. In the clip, two members of his band fight over who gets to launch the pyrotechnics at various stadiums around the country – with many fans speculating that those were the spots where Fender would play as part of a tour.
Now, he has officially confirmed the ‘Proper Massive Stadium Tour’, which kicks off with two nights at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park on June 3 and 5. The shows at the stadium follow on from the ‘Seventeen Going Under’ singer headlining three headline shows there in 2025 and two headline dates in 2023.
From there, one night is lined-up at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 10, followed by two nights at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 18 and 20 – his biggest headline shows to date.

The tour picks up in July with slots at Marlay Park in Dublin, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Etihad Stadium in Manchester, and Fender’s first European festival headline slot at Rock Werchter in Belgium.
Support will come from Wunderhorse, and tickets go on sale at 9:30am on Friday October 30. Pre-sale access will also be available to those who pre-order Fender’s fourth album now before 9am on Monday October 26.
Details about album four remain vague – including the title and release date – but those who pre-order it early will receive a unique presale code and link for the tour pre-sale, which launches on Wednesday October 28 at 9:30am. General onsale tickets will be available here.

It is worth noting that the tour schedule leaves a noticeable gap around the time that Glastonbury Festival takes place (June 23-27). While no tour artists have been officially announced for Glasto 2027, Fender is among the bookies’ favourites, along with Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Little Simz, while Harry Styles, Radiohead, Fontaines D.C., Muse and The Rolling Stones.
If Fender is confirmed, it will be his first slot at Worthy Farm since 2022.
The tour announcement comes amid a huge year for Fender. While he has not played any headline shows or dropped any new music, he has been the recipient of the Songwriter Of The Year award at the Ivor Novellos, bagged Song Of The Year award at the BRITs 2026, and broken the record for the longest-running UK Number One single of all time with his Olivia Dean duet ‘Rein Me In’.
His last tour saw him raise £50,000 from ticket sales for the charity Youth Music, and he also dropped the ‘Live At London Stadium’ concert film that captured the huge ‘People Watching’ shows.
News of album four on the way comes as Fender released a deluxe edition of ‘People Watching’ last year and revealed last February that he had already got some new songs planned for a new record.
In summer 2025, he also confirmed plans to take a break in 2026 to get his voice “as good as possible” before making another album and releasing a “fuck loads of new tunes”.
