2026 MAMA AWARDS is taking K-POP further than ever. Unveiling new details at a media day in Seoul, the world’s No.1 K-POP Awards is set to bring K-POP together with film, fine art, animation and AI, alongside the biggest single-location lineup in MAMA AWARDS history and its first-ever MAMA FAN FESTA connecting fans on-site and online, all under this year’s theme “A MUSIC INTERSTELLAR.”

ENHYPEN x Dune: Part Three
At MAMA AWARDS’ signature CINEMATIC STAGE, ENHYPEN’s universe meets the world of Dune ahead of the film’s December release. ENHYPEN will also release a new single in November. MAMA AWARDS’ CINEMATIC STAGE brings together K-POP and film-inspired elements to create a high-quality, all-in-one art stage never seen before. Some of MAMA AWARDS’ CINEMATIC STAGE presented ATEEZ with actor RYU SEUNG RYONG in 2023, ZEROBASEONE as Romeos reimagining Romeo and Juliet in 2024 and actor AHN HYO SEOP, who voiced a role in Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, appeared on the stage in 2025.
BIGBANG x Dooly the Little Dinosaur
BIGBANG will deliver a performance spanning two decades of K-POP history, marking their 20th anniversary. Alongside Dooly the Little Dinosaur, one of Korea’s most beloved animated characters, created by cartoonist Kim Soo-jung in 1983. A legendary K-POP artist is set to meet a legendary character.
Artist Lee Bae x MAMA AWARDS
This will be MAMA AWARDS’ first-ever fine art collaboration. Lee Bae, one of Korea’s leading contemporary artists, will bring his work to the MAMA AWARDS stage. Known globally as the ‘artist of charcoal’ Lee Bae has transformed charcoal into a universal language of contemporary art, with exhibitions in France, Italy, Switzerland, the U.K., the U.S., China and Japan. His work, which explores disappearance and creation, time and cycles, will meet pop culture in a stage celebrating the enduring power of music.
Google Gemini x MAMA AWARDS
Continuing MAMA AWARDS’ tradition of blending technology and art, MAMA AWARDS will team up with Google’s latest AI, Gemini, applying it through more than 30 years of Mnet’s production expertise across from the opening to the performances.
PARK BO GUM as MAMA AWARDS’ First AMBASSADOR
Actor PARK BO GUM, who has hosted MAMA AWARDS seven times since 2017 (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025), returns in a new role as its first-ever AMBASSADOR. Having been part of MAMA AWARDS’ defining moments, including its 2022 rebranding, its U.S. debut in Los Angeles, and three of MAMA AWARDS took place at Japan’s major dome in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. This year as MAMA AMBASSADOR, PARK will connect CHAPTER 1 and CHAPTER 2, serving as a storyteller who conveys the story of ‘A MUSIC INTERSTELLAR”, and a guide who takes audiences on a journey through MAMA AWARDS’ musical universe.
Every Generation of K-POP
Built around this year’s keyword ‘ALL GENERATION,’ 2026 MAMA AWARDS will feature the largest lineup ever for a single location. The lineup spans global rookies who debuted this year to K-pop veterans and legends. Newly joining the lineup is legendary duo Panic, who debuted in 1995, the same year Mnet launched. They will present their own stage as well as a generation-bridging collaboration with WOODZ and members of ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, ZEROBASEONE and Hearts2Hearts.

MAMA FAN FESTA
MAMA FAN FESTA will take place for the first time, running from November 9th to 21st offline, across the city of Osaka and online, on Mnet Plus. Pairing the awards ceremony with new on- and offline programs and special collaborations,drawing on CJ ENM’s experience creating fan experiences worldwide through KCON.
On the ground: MAMA FAN FESTA connects key Osaka locations including HEP FIVE, Midosuji and Namba Square, leading all the way to KYOCERA DOME OSAKA. At Namba Square, fans can enjoy a WELCOME STATION, STAR TOUCH STATION, BACKSTAGE CAM, FAN COMMUNITY LOUNGE, and RED CARPET PHOTO ZONE.
