BBGIRLS (Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna), who wrote the 'reverse myth', have returned after reorganizing as a trio with their new single 'LOVE 2' on January 15. 

Their first new album since joining GLG, they are determined to show off their upgraded skills and music compared to before. 'LOVE 2' is a dance pop track that contains a cheerful yet heartbreaking emotion that captures the moment when love begins between two people. Sweetune, who has produced many hit songs for Kara, Infinite, Rainbow, etc., took charge of the production and increased the perfection.

The BBGIRLS members, who introduced themselves as '5th generation idols', said, "We changed our team name to BBGIRLS two years ago and made a fresh start." They added, "I don't know how many times we say 'start again', but we are confident because we prepared with the mindset of starting anew for the last time," and expressed their firm determination, saying, "We will come back to life when the spark goes out."

Brave Girls, which debuted in 2011, is a team that has had many twists and turns. They had frequent member changes and tried to bounce back with the current members who joined in 2016, but it wasn't easy. After a long period of obscurity of 3 years and 5 months, an opportunity came. Brave Girls, who were on the verge of disbanding after 'Rollin'' was rediscovered in 2021 and became a popular girl group overnight.

In an interview with Sports Seoul Minyoung explained, “We think of ourselves as a group that gives hope, so we wanted to show a bright and exciting feeling, and a feeling of a new beginning.” Eunji said she shed tears after listening to the lyrics. She said, “The melody and lyrics touched me and I was so moved that I cried with my mom while listening. I hope that this feeling will be conveyed to the public as well.” The members, including the eldest member Minyoung, who was born in 1990, and all in their 30s, also expressed their desire to have a long run as a girl group. Minyoung said, “We talked among ourselves about getting married and having children at the same time as the members and making content out of it. We wanted to show our juniors that there is such a path by continuing to be active for a long time.

Meanwhile, BBGIRLS will begin active comeback promotions by appearing on music shows starting today with 'M Countdown', KBS2's 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo'.
