Oh so ambient, so dreamy just before we nod off and then ‘Do It’ turns a much brighter shade of go-get-em. And what a wide-eyed lead singer we have to keep us on our toes. In fact such is the energetic dispatches of his performance he is quite capable of keeping up with the manic playing. There is just so much to contend with, a likeability and the sort of debut that properly lays out Chicago’s Disco Naps’ intentions. It is going to be hard to match their verve and jauntiness but it is more than worth the effort. KH
