Aspects of contemplative folk and angsty rock converge on “Steadfast Glow,” a new track from Los Angeles-based artist VANNGO that he describes as “about holding your ground when everything around you shifts.” Emphasizing forward motion in both its lyricism and climactic structural drive, the track appeals in its range of folk-forward strums and more expanded ardor. It follows previously featured successes like “One Week Forever” and “Echo in the Dust.”
