Yeat has released the music video for his song “Naked” starring Ice Spice. The video was directed by the rapper under his birth name, Noah Olivier Smith.
In the video, a miniature Yeat serenades a life-size Ice Spice, dangling from her heel and perched on the palm of her hand. Ice Spice shared a number of behind the scenes shots from the video on her Instagram, captioned with the chorus’ lyrics, “I just like to see you naked.”
“Naked” is a cut from Yeat’s recently released double album ADL (A Dangerous Lyfe / A Dangerous Love). The album features a number of diverse guest appearances, including Elton John, Grimes, NBA YoungBoy,Don Toliver, Joji, Julia Wolf, and even Kylie Jenner under the moniker “King Kylie.”
In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, the rapper shared his vision with the record:“I think out of my generation and as of right now, people, and no shade to anyone… I’m definitely super forward-thinking on how we can make something sound fresh.” He continued, “I’m definitely trying to change it up, trying to give the youth some real music, some real art.”
He additionally called the record “the first album of my career where I’m putting a lot of real, real effort into the album itself.”
Yeat recently announced the upcoming LOVE/LYFE Tour across North America in support of ADL. The tour will kick off on July 17th in Minneapolis and make stops across major cities including Chicago, Toronto, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Houston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles before wrapping on August 18th in San Diego. Slayr and BNYX will join the tour as special guests in select cities. Tickets are available now through Yeat’s website.
The rapper’s last album, 2024’s LYFESTYLE, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
