In February, The Pokémon Company announced a series of events would be taking place in 2026 to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon. “Day Out events will feature family-friendly activities and programming, and Night Out events will have fun surprises in store for longtime fans who grew up with Pokémon,” they explained.

Now, it’s been confirmed DJ superstar Marshmello will be headlining a pair of Night Out gigs in London and LA.

“The worlds of Pokémon and electronic dance music (EDM) collide in a once-in-a-lifetime experience designed for fans who grew up loving Pokémon. The Pokémon Night Out celebration is the first of its kind: an unforgettable concert with performances by top EDM artists Marshmello and Alison Wonderland, along with a dazzling show filled with cutting-edge technology and animation,” reads a press release.

The Pokémon Night Out gigs will take place:

OCTOBER
24 – Intuit Dome, California

NOVEMBER
10 – O2 Arena, London

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday (April 17) at 10am local time.

“I grew up with Pokémon and it’s just such an honour [to be asked to do this,” said Marshmello, who’s planning “a very special, very curated set” for the gigs. “For this show, it’s been really fun to work off of all the visual moments we have planned,” he added.

He went on to say his favourite Pokémon was Mewtwo. “Growing up, Pikachu and Charizard were more bubbly and light-hearted and I just remember Mewtwo being a little more ominous.”
