Last summer, Nintendo teamed up with Crocs for a range of Animal Crossing-inspired footwear which sold out almost instantly. Now a new collection that pays homage to Super Mario is set to launch.
Four different Crocs will be released as part of the collab and they’ll be available in both children and adult sizes.
“Designed for fans of all ages, the Crocs x Super Mario collection showcases the Mushroom Kingdom with Crocs’ signature comfort and self-expression in a world where imagination and everyday life collide,” explains a news post. “The collection features elevated design elements including custom backstraps, three-dimensional graphics and exclusive co-branded Jibbitz charms.”

The blue Super Mario Core Classic Clog features a graphic print of iconic items from the Mario games and comes with eight exclusive charms, which allow you to customise your shoe. The Mario Classic Clog resembles Mario’s hat. Clogs inspired by Yoshi and Bowser will also be available as part of the collection alongside a platformed Princess Peach Croc. A range of Mario friends and foes Jibbitz charms will also be available.
The Super Mario range will go on sale July 15 via Crocs, Nintendo and a range of global wholesale partners. Kids Crocs start at £49.99 while adult sizes are available from £69.99.
The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive from Nintendo fans. “Back in my day, Crocs were shit,” wrote one Reddit user. “I need those Bowser Crocs so badly. The rest of the collection looks great too,” said a X user. “Am I going to finally own a pair of Crocs?” asked another.
In other news, the epic soundtrack to Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag is getting a bumper vinyl release ahead of the Resynced remake.
