JUN. K has released digital single, "Midnight Ticket," on June 15.
This marks JUN. K's return with new music—specifically the single and its title track, both titled "Midnight Ticket"—approximately nine months after the release of his fourth mini-album, "Dear my muse", in September 2025.
Since his debut in September 2008, JUN. K has established himself as a singer-songwriter by contributing to numerous hit songs for 2PM and his own solo albums; for this new release, he once again participated in writing the lyrics and composing the music, showcasing his unique musical sensibility and melodic style.
"Midnight Ticket," is a English language Pop R&B song that harmonizes JUN. K's delicate vocals with an EP sound and a drum groove that is both understated and weighty. The song’s appeal is maximized by its romantic lyrics—inviting a lover into a private moment shared only between the two—and its addictive melody.
The music video unfolds the spectrum of emotions JUN. K has experienced, set against the backdrop of midnight—a time of solitude and honesty. Viewers are drawn in by the sight of JUN. K, who has grown stronger after navigating the intense and imperfect moments of past romances. Finally, the worn, crumpled "Midnight Ticket" left behind serves as a symbolic representation of all the time passed and the emotions felt, leaving a lingering, profound impression.
Ahead of the new release, JUN. K held a special event titled "2026 JUN." on June 13 at the Centennial Hall Concert Hall at Yonsei University JUN. K heated up the atmosphere by premiering the stage for his new song "Midnight Ticket." Keeping the momentum going, he will hold a special event on the 28th at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Japan to connect with local fans.
In May, he successfully wrapped up the concert "2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert 'THE RETURN' in TOKYO DOME" with his fellow 2PM members. Notably, during the show, the group delighted fans by announcing that they would hold "2026 2PM Concert 'THE RETURN' in INCHEON"—their first full-group solo concert in Korea in about three years—at the Incheon Inspire Arena on August 8 and 9.
JUN. K, an artist who has long been cherished for his consistent musical journey, now presents "Midnight Ticket" to listeners—an invitation to a time that feels like a midsummer night's dream.
