Epiphone Unveils Jay “Raoul” SG™ Tribute Plus with ENHYPEN's Jay

Epiphone has partnered with JAY of the world-renowned K-pop group ENHYPEN to create the first-ever Epiphone Jay “Raoul” SG™ Tribute Plus. Reflecting JAY’s passion for encouraging as many fans to start playing guitar as possible, this model is based on Epiphone’s “Tribute Series”—making it a great choice for players to discover their sound and develop their musical voice.

The Epiphone Jay “Raoul” SG™ Tribute Plus is available exclusively online in South Korea and Japan. For details, including release dates in each country, please visit weverse online https://go.weverse.io/qt3S/smacmwjs (South Korea), and the dedicated sales site https://gibson-collab.myshopify.com (Japan).

The Epiphone Jay “Raoul” SG Tribute Plus features the classic Gibson SG shape and is finished in a shimmering gloss Rubine Red, a color personally selected by JAY. Unique to this guitar, this vivid and modern hue makes a striking statement on stage. Furthermore, the combination of black neck binding and a black pickguard accentuate the Rubine Red finish. JAY’s signature is printed on the truss rod cover on the headstock, and the bolt-on plate located on the back of the neck joint is engraved with the respective logos of Epiphone and JAY, symbolizing their collaboration.

“To all the fans who have supported me, and to everyone who has watched over me since the days when I wasn’t very good at guitar yet, I hope you can feel the time and effort I’ve put in to grow little by little and reach the point where I can participate in such a wonderful project” says JAY. “Through this guitar, I hope to convey the importance of hard work, the importance of having dreams, and that heart-pounding, exhilarating feeling.”

The Epiphone Jay “Raoul” SG Tribute Plus features a classic Gibson SG-shaped body made from mahogany. It has an iconic beveled mahogany SG body with a maple veneer top. The bolt-on mahogany neck features a fast and easy-playing 60s SlimTaper™ Rounded C profile that makes practice sessions and jamming a joy, and a tapered heel joint for improved upper fret access. The headstock features the popular 60s Kalamazoo headstock shape, which is outfitted with quality die-cast tuning machines, and the bound laurel fretboard is outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The SG Tribute Plus is equipped with an Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece, which make string height and intonation easy to adjust and contribute to this model’s excellent sustain.

The Epiphone Jay “Raoul” SG Tribute Plus features a pair of Epiphone humbucker™ pickups, with an Epiphone 650R in the neck position and an Epiphone 700T in the bridge position. Both pickups are furnished with powerful ceramic magnets for strong, full-bodied tone. The Epiphone Jay “Raoul” SG Tribute Plus elevates the Tribute series with even more performance and better looks while remaining approachable to players everywhere.

In addition, this model comes with four exclusive portrait cards of JAY, four original Epiphone x JAY picks (with one pick autographed by JAY himself), and a premium Epiphone gig bag. Inspired by JAY’s passion for encouraging fans to pick up the instrument, it is the perfect choice for players discovering their unique musical voice, and the “Epiphone Jay ‘Raoul’ SG Tribute Plus” stands as an ideal option not only for ENHYPEN fans but also as an inspiring guitar for beginning a lifelong musical journey.

JAY is a member of K-pop’s unrivaled storytellers ENHYPEN, who debuted in November 2020 through Mnet's mega-project ‘I-LAND’. Beloved by fans worldwide for their unrivaled ability to bring unique concepts to life, the group broke their first triple million-seller record with their second studio album ‘ROMANCE : UNTOLD’, released in July 2024.

Their third world tour, "WALK THE LINE," held from October 2024 to October 2025, drew more than 676,000 global fans across 32 shows across 19 cities, including major dome and stadium venues. Notably, following their achievement as the quickest K-pop boy group to complete a tour of Japan’s three major domes in the shortest time since their debut, they further cemented their reputation as a powerhouse live act by becoming the fastest international artist to hold a Japanese stadium concert in the shortest time since debut — just 4 years and 7 months.

Their fourth Japanese single, '宵 -YOI-', released last July, earned their first-ever "Triple Platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan in the October Gold Disc certifications. Earlier this year, the group’s seventh mini album ‘THE SIN : VANISH’ became their fourth double million-seller, extending their unbroken streak of career-high achievements. Building on this momentum, ENHYPEN launched their world tour ‘BLOOD SAGA’ in Seoul this May. The tour will continue across Latin America and the U.S. in July and August, followed by stops in Macau in October, and a four-dome tour of Japan spanning December through February next year. Spanning 33 shows across 21 cities worldwide through March next year, ‘BLOOD SAGA’ is poised to become the group’s biggest and most ambitious world tour yet.
