The US singer-songwriter (real name Tucker Pillsbury) will head out on the road this autumn in support of his third studio album, ‘Chuck Timely & The Hourglass’, which is released on August 7.

He’ll play a run of North American dates in September and October, kicking off with a show in Bend, Oregon. Further gigs are scheduled in Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Los Angeles and numerous other cities.

Support on the US and Canada leg comes from Samia.

A European leg is set to follow early next year. Role Model will visit Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Düsseldorf and Paris, before heading to the UK and Ireland for two huge concerts.

Role Model will play Dublin’s 3Arena on February 22, ahead of a final stop at The O2 in London on February 24.

Keni Titus is joining as a special guest opener at all European and UK shows.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time next Friday (June 26). You’ll be able to buy yours here (UK and Ireland), here (Europe) and here (North America). Alternatively, fans can access an artist pre-sale at the same time on Wednesday (June 24) – sign up here.

This summer will see Role Model make appearances at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic. He shared his new single ‘High Hopes 3000’ earlier this month, and performed at Bonnaroo in the US last weekend.

Role Model was featured in the 2019 edition of the NME 100, where he was described as a “super-smooth lad making R&B with a social conscience”. The artist has since released two albums: 2022’s ‘Rx’ and 2024’s ‘Kansas Anymore’.

Speaking to NME at Reading Festival 2022, Role Model discussed the process of penning his second record, after a “big dry spell of writing”. He explained that being on tour had helped him get back into the mindset to create new music.

“I don’t know what it is, it’s very inspiring,” he said at the time. “I think a lot of artists probably feel the same way, but it just shows you what works and what doesn’t, and it makes you want to keep going.”

Last autumn, Charli XCX made a surprise appearance during Role Model’s Saturday Night Live performance.
