Oh what a piece of late nightism this is, jazz and laidback rock rolled into a slight sway of an indie folk tune and capped by a singer who has a smouldering quality. Lizet Aviva really does have that end of day and contemplation to her music and ‘Head, Heart & Hands’ does feel like the most comforting of listens as a result. All we need is the last of the wine and the gentle tapping of the rain on the windows to complete the effect. Impossible to resist, those ranging chords sealed it for me. KH
