An afro soul to this track, in fact in quite reminded me of Paul Simon’s work on Graceland. At least early days when the guitars held court, but they would accede power to a vocal style that is just so colourful it can’t but draw ears to its dynamic rapture. ‘Plus De Plantes’ draws on divine inspiration and all the twists and turns along the way is not going to change it. In fact the unconventionality of it all means we’ll be back time and again enjoying its warren of masterful ideas from this Swiss act. KH
