Ubisoft has confirmed it will be removing 56 songs from the Just Dance+ library next month, due to expiring music rights licences.
Just Dance+ is a paid-for subscription service that gives players access to a huge library of songs that can be used in a number of Just Dance titles, including Just Dance 2026.
Yesterday (August 4) Ubisoft confirmed that a huge number of those Just Dance+ songs would be removed from the service at the start of September, with just four new tracks being added – ‘Burn’ and ‘Light’ by Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ and ‘Domino’ by Jessie J.
“As part of our library management and upon expiration of their licensing agreements, 56 songs will be removed from Just Dance+,” reads a blog post from Ubisoft. “Our commitment to you remains the same: to prioritise quality and curate the best possible experience. In making these selections, we have carefully reviewed usage metrics and taken great care to avoid removing community favorites, ensuring we maintain a focused and high-quality library for you to enjoy.”
