The soundtrack to Palworld has finally hit streaming services, more than 18 months after this hit game’s early access launch.
Palworld entered early access at the start of 2024 and the hit survival crafting game was given a full launch last month (July 10).
“Palworld blends intense combat, monster-catching and deep base building into one seamless experience,” said developers PocketPair. “Arm yourself with everything from traditional bows and spears to devastating assault rifles and rocket launchers. Use Pal Spheres to capture weakened creatures and turn them into powerful allies. With unique attributes and diverse skill sets, no two Pals are ever the same.”
Following the release of Palworld 1.0, Pocketpair confirmed that more than 40million people had played the game, making it one of the best-selling video games of all time.
Today (August 7) the game’s official soundtrack has been shared across streaming services. Featuring 45 songs composed by Tatsuya Yano, the expansive soundtrack “shifts from adventurously whimsical and sweeping themes for exploration to rousingly energetic and propulsive movements for combat,” according to a press release. Earlier this month it was confirmed a new multiplayer mobile Palworld spin-off is in the works. “Palworld is a widely recognised IP, and we see an opportunity to bring the essence of their PC title to mobile in a way that encourages players to connect and venture together,” said Terry Zhao, the president of game developers Garena. “Working closely with Pocketpair, we are focused on preserving the depth, immersion and freedom that define Palworld, while thoughtfully optimising the experience for mobile play.”
Palworld Online is currently scheduled to launch in 2026 but an exact release date is still to be announced.
In other news, the complete soundtrack for Madden NFL 27 has been revealed, with songs from Ozzy Osbourne, Bad Bunny, Avicii and more all set to feature.
